One of my favourite anime heroine is Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann. As a sharp shooter armed with a high powered energy rifle, she fought along side Simon and Kamina in the war against the Spiral King, Lord Genome.


Gurren Lagann is a Japanese Mecha Anime, meaning there's a lot of big robots with big guns and explosion. The series won an Excellent Prize award in the 2007 Japan Media Arts Festival & Best Television Award during the 7th annual Tokyo Anime Awards 2008
